Model Inversion: A Conceptual Framework for Understanding Coherent Systems
Abstract
Model inversion is a conceptual and analytical technique in which a system is examined from its boundaries, outputs, or terminal expressions inward, rather than from presumed central features outward. This perceptual reorientation brings organizing structures, closure, and relational dynamics into clearer focus, particularly in complex or globally coupled systems. Model inversion does not introduce new mathematics or replace existing analytical methods; instead, it shifts the observer’s vantage point to support coherent interpretation across physical, organizational, and cognitive domains. This paper presents model inversion as a general framework, illustrates its application across multiple fields, and outlines an operational hierarchy for inverted organizational leadership grounded in human capacity and system stability.
