Gravitational Lensing and Quantum Tunneling as Unified Space‑Phase Conditioning Phenomena
Abstract
Gravitational lensing and quantum tunneling are traditionally treated as separatephenomena belonging to relativity and quantum mechanics respectively. While themathematical formalisms describing them are highly successful, their physical mechanismsare commonly abstracted away. This paper argues that both phenomena arise from thesame underlying cause: gradients in a conditioned space‑phase medium. In gravitationallensing, stiffness gradients guide the transport of light. In quantum tunneling, acceptancegradients permit attenuated but continuous transport across classically forbidden regions.By reframing both effects as medium‑first transport phenomena, a unified, scale‑independent mechanism emerges that dissolves the artificial boundary betweengeometric curvature and probabilistic behavior.
