Alt-DSM: A Translation-First Interpreting Emotional Signal
Abstract
An operating system that reframes psychological change as translation rather than correction, recognizing that many so-called distortions are learned adaptations to invalidating or hostile environments. Instead of replacing thoughts, it interrogates the conditions that shaped how meaning is encoded in the first place.
