Abstract

The CPD Framework: A Geometric Recoding of Physics (Second Edition) presents Constrained Packing Dynamics (CPD) as a discrete, substrate-level interpretation of physical law. In CPD, the vacuum is treated not as an abstract background, but as a mechanically constrained lattice with finite capacity, discrete update steps, and torsional degrees of freedom. Physical phenomena arise from how this structure stores, redistributes, and saturates strain. This edition extends the original work by introducing an explicit operational protocol, a defined lattice geometry, and a systematic construction of particles, fields, and interactions as emergent structural configurations. Stable particles correspond to closed topological defects, propagating modes to linear strain transport, and forces to update bias and capacity exhaustion. Quantum mechanics and relativity appear as effective descriptions when the discrete substrate is unresolved, while gravity emerges from cumulative lattice loading. The second edition places strong emphasis on internal consistency, structural constraints, and falsifiability, and carefully distinguishes between established claims and speculative extensions. It is intended for readers interested in foundational questions of physics and the possibility of a unified mechanical substrate beneath existing theoretical frameworks.
