Nuclide Model using Multi-Species Segmentation and Alpha derived Vacuum Stiffness
Abstract
Using the fine-structure constant α and an algebraically derived vacuum stiffness β, we decompose the nuclide chart into 9 decay species treated as distinct soliton types with deterministic behaviour. Noting the prolate ("peanut") deformation of heavy nuclei above A ≈ 150 and the presence of overlapping degenerate solutions, we treat each population as a separate species and model the energy landscape as a Lyapunov convergence problem. The resulting fits cover 3,653 nuclides from NUBASE2020/AME2020 using ~10 parameters per species. Decay-mode assignment follows from the segmentation by construction; the non-trivial result is half-life prediction, where the model achieves RMSE of 1.0–1.9 decades (log₁₀ T½) depending on species.
