Abstract

Supersession Note — May 2026 This document is a bridge extension that constrains admissible observables within the identity-persistence framework. It remains conceptually valid, but it is not the canonical presentation of the author’s current program. The definitive formal treatment is presented in Universal Identity and Persistence and its companion papers, which establish the Tier-1 forcing results and subsequent capacity and coding closures. This record should be read as a derived bridge from identity persistence to admissible observables, with all domain-specific interpretations explicitly downstream and optional. Abstract This document derives structural constraints on admissible observables from the identity-persistence framework. Any intrinsic observable must factor through the identity quotient, remain invariant under admissible re-description, and preserve bounded drift under persistence-preserving evolution. Under these conditions, observables are downstream of identity persistence, compositional observables obey fixed algebraic laws, and probability appears only as a coarse-grained description induced by limited measurement access. Physical interpretations involving time, mass, energy, and light are treated as optional operational mappings rather than foundational assumptions. The document establishes dependency direction without asserting a specific physical ontology.
