Assessment of Thermal Efficiency and Decarbonization Potential of a Marine Auxiliary Diesel Engine Fueled with MgCO3-Doped Third-Generation Biodiesel
Abstract
This dataset contains complete Response Surface Methodology (RSM) input-output data used to optimize the engine performance and emission characteristics of a marine auxiliary diesel engine operating with third-generation biodiesel blends with MgCO3 additive. The dataset includes experimental design matrices, independent variables (engine load and nanoparticle concentration), and corresponding responses such as brake thermal efficiency, brake specific fuel consumption, and exhaust emission parameters (NOx, CO, HC, and CO2). This data supports the multi-objective optimization analysis presented in the relevant journal article and ensures the reproducibility of the statistical modeling.
