LIFE MareNatura Data Management Plan
Abstract
The LIFE MareNatura project aims to provide the means to mitigate threats to nine (9) of the most threatened EU priority species of seabirds, marine turtles, and marine mammals in the Ionian, South Adriatic, and Aegean seas, which host the strongholds of target species populations across 44 N2K project sites. This deliverable (D2.1) presents the updated version of the Data Management Plan (DMP) that was submitted in July 2024. The DMP should be considered a living document that can be revised following the project's achievements. The Data Management Plan will be updated annually, and this is the first annual update. The final document will outline how the research data will be collected or generated within the project activities, how data will be handled during the project, and how it will remain in force after its termination. This deliverable is drafted according to FAIR principles.
