CASE STUDY 2 GREECE D2.2. c Preliminary Study of «Wastewater treatment with NbS for irrigation reuse»
Abstract
This deliverable evaluates the potential of treated wastewater reuse for agricultural irrigation in the Chimaditida basin, Greece, within the framework of the NATMed project and the application of Nature-Based Solutions (NbS). The study focuses on effluents from four wastewater treatment plants (Asprogia, Aetos, Valtonera-Limnochori and Sklithro) operating within a hydrologically connected and environmentally sensitive region characterized by the presence of Lake Chimaditida, a Natura 2000 protected wetland.
