Abstract

AL_hiPSC_ionic_model — v1.0.0 First stable public release of a MATLAB implementation of a phenotype-specific ionic model for matured and paced atrial-like hiPSC-derived cardiomyocytes, including atrial-specific IKur and IKCa currents. Main features: Atrial-like hiPSC-CM ionic model Includes IKur and IKCa currents Supports paced (1 Hz) and spontaneous beating configurations Reproducible setup aligned with published manuscript Ready-to-run MATLAB code Run: Execute main_Botti2024.m for 10 s paced simulation (1 Hz) For spontaneous beating: set stimFlag in main_Botti2024.m and gK1 = 0.05 in Botti2024.m Requirements: MATLAB R2022a or newer No additional toolboxes required License: BSD 2-Clause License (no warranty) Citation: Botti et al., A novel ionic model for matured and paced atrial-like human iPSC-CMs integrating IKur and IKCa currents, Computers in Biology and Medicine, 2024.
