Dynamic (Semi-Active) Cryopreservation via Intracellular Thermal Zoning
Abstract
This research presents a theoretical study on dynamic cryopreservation, introducing a model for intracellular thermal gradients to sustain metabolic activity during freezing. Using Python-based 2D simulations, we investigate how nanoparticles can be used to optimize thermal management in cells, aiming to improve viability after thawing. The results provide a framework for future experimental validation and potential applications in long-term biological storage and organ preservation.
