Abstract

The Impersonal Lexicon (ICF-3) defines the core terms of the Impersonal ClosureFramework and specifies how they relate without collapsing into moral judgment orprescriptive guidance. The lexicon is designed for cumulative citation: itstandardizes meanings for Descriptive Closure (ICF-0) and two companionoperations—Decision Displacement (ICF-1) and Audit Substitution (ICF-2)—andintroduces auxiliary terms for traces, boundaries, and validity conditions. Thedocument includes explicit non-equivalences (e.g., auditability is not effectiveness;defensibility is not truth; closure is not secrecy) and usage constraints that preventthe vocabulary from being weaponized as tactics for evasion or manipulation. Thegoal is a stable language for describing how systems regulate knowability underscrutiny. Keywords
