How Physics Lost its Integrity and Why It Must Be Reclaimed
Abstract
This paper reframes the Space‑Phase (SP3) argument in explicitly historical terms. It is nota technical dispute about equations, nor a stylistic disagreement between schools of theory. It is a narrative about a century‑long avoidance — a sequence of missed opportunities inwhich physics repeatedly chose mathematical accommodation over physical honesty. The consequence of that choice was not immediate failure. On the contrary, it producedextraordinary short‑term success. But it also produced a slow erosion of explanatoryintegrity, leaving modern physics burdened with invisible substances, proliferatingparticles, and mathematical formalisms that increasingly substitute for mechanism ratherthan describe it.
