Abstract

This file contains a geometrical (CAD) model of Delft University of Technology's TUD-PROWIM propeller. This four-bladed propeller with diameter of 0.237 m can be used for the validation of numerical tools because experimental data sets are available (shared separately). A single CAD model is provided that contains a simplified geometry suggested for numerical (CFD) analyses. It includes all components of the isolated propeller test setup that was used with the TUD-PROWIM propeller. The geometry is constructed from separate components, that can be enabled/disabled by the user. The blades are set to a pitch angle of 23.9 deg at r/R=0.75. The CAD files are available upon request and are intended for non-commercial use. When making the request, please include your affiliation and specify for what purpose you would like to use the geometry.
