Abstract

This is the archived version of the source code used in the manuscript "Impact of Parameterized Wind-Driven Boundary Layer Turbulence on the Development and Evolution of Submesoscale Mixed Layer Eddies in an Idealized Front" by Xinghao Jiang and Qing Li. It contains the source code for MPAS-Ocean and a model setup folder with three subfolders corresponding to simulations using three different boundary layer turbulence parameterizations. MPAS-Ocean is a global ocean circulation model. Three boundary layer turbulence parameterizations includes k-\epsilon, KPP and a modified KPP schemes.
