Abstract

This interdisciplinary theoretical framework argues that the evolutionary divergence of the Y chromosome from the X chromosome constitutes the biological origin of a fundamental schism in human consciousness. Drawing on peer-reviewed genetics research, immunological science, reproductive biology, esoteric spiritual traditions, psychoanalytic theory, comparative anthropology, African diasporic cosmology, environmental science, and decolonial thought, it proposes that the progressive degradation of the Y chromosome—which has lost approximately 97 percent of its original genes over 300 million years—created a form of linear consciousness structurally unable to self-renew, in contrast to the cyclical renewal embedded in the XX biological system. The framework synthesizes eight pillars of evidence and proposes that what spiritual traditions have called Original Sin may have a biological correlate in the Y chromosome’s loss of cyclical renewal capacity. It further argues that the mitochondrial genome, inherited exclusively through the maternal line and untouched by the Y chromosome’s degradation, constitutes biological proof that the original loop was never fully severed. The study defends the link between genomic architecture and civilizational pattern through a six-level chain of emergence, and concludes with a prescriptive framework: the restoration of the broken loop requires the dissolution of linear consciousness and realignment with the cyclical logic already operating inside every human body.
