Latency-Regularized Local Dynamics on a Cosmic Sheet: A MetaTime v37.0 Supplementary Constraint from Local-Universe Planarity
Abstract
Recent constrained reconstructions of the nearby universe indicate that the matter distributionaround the Local Group is strongly planar out to ∼ 10Mpc, with deep voids above and below, yielding a “quiet” yet anisotropic local Hubble flow. Motivated by MetaTime v36.0, we proposea minimal v37.0 supplementary phenomenology in which gravitational motion is supplemented byan information-geometric processing penalty parameterized by a latency coefficient ΓL. The correctionacts as a stabilizing regularizer that preferentially suppresses dynamically expensive excursionsnormal to the sheet. We provide (i) a schematic modified Euler–Lagrange structure where ΓL couplesto gradients of an information metric, and (ii) a toy numerical integration in a simplified localpotential (finite-thickness sheet + Local Group point mass) illustrating that nonzero ΓL reducesthe sheet-normal peculiar-velocity dispersion and thickness diagnostics. We then give an explicitphysical scaling calibrated to the reported one-dimensional r.m.s. velocities in the local sheet environment. The aim is not to replace ΛCDM, but to define a falsifiable, data-bounded parameterizationconstrained by observed planarity and local-flow coldness.
