Admissibility Mathematics
Abstract
WHAT THIS BOOK IS The upstream mathematics that all other mathematics depends on This book is not a survey of mathematical topics. It is not an introduction to numbers, sets, geometry, algebra, or calculus. It is not a history of ideas or a catalogue of techniques. This book is about the conditions that make mathematics possible. It introduces the structural grammar that mathematics inherits from the substrate — the same grammar that underlies cosmology and computation. It explains why mathematical objects can exist, why they refine the way they do, and why certain structures appear universally across all representational systems. In this ontology: Mathematics is not invented. Mathematics is not symbolic. Mathematics is not representational. Mathematics is the refinement‑side expression of admissibility. Before numbers, before functions, before geometry, there are only: admissibility degrees of freedom thresholds collapse cascades invariants operators projection These are not mathematical metaphors. They are the structural roles that govern what mathematics can express. This book introduces those roles. It does not formalise them — that is the purpose of Collapse‑Web Mathematics. It does not explore their projection‑side consequences — that is the purpose of Projection Mathematics. It does not apply them to physics — that is the purpose of Cosmology 1.It does not apply them to computation — that is the purpose of Computing 1. This book sits above all of them. It is the parent structure of the mathematical canon. It is the grammar from which all representable mathematics emerges. It is the layer that explains why mathematics is coherent, universal, and stable across all projections. If mathematics is the language of structure,Admissibility Mathematics is the structure that makes the language possible. This book teaches that structure.
