APF Companion: The Weak Mixing Angle as a Capacity Equilibrium
Abstract
Superseded. This standalone derivation is superseded by APF Paper 42, "The Weak Mixing Angle Is Not Free" (concept DOI 10.5281/zenodo.20684245, resolves to the latest version). The Weak Mixing Angle as a Capacity Equilibrium Ethan S. Brooke Description: We derive the weak mixing angle sin²θ_W = 3/13 ≈ 0.23077 from a single axiom — finite enforceability — with zero fitted parameters. The derivation constructs the unique capacity-competition flow between electroweak gauge sectors (a competitive Lotka–Volterra system uniquely determined at quadratic order by five structural invariances), identifies the 2×2 competition matrix from the gauge group SU(3)×SU(2)×U(1), and proves via an explicit Lyapunov function that the equilibrium ratio r* = 3/10 is a global UV attractor: every trajectory with both sectors present converges to sin²θ_W = 3/13 in the high-energy limit. The predicted value deviates from the experimental measurement (0.23122 ± 0.00003, PDG 2024, MS-bar scheme) by 0.19%, consistent with the leading-order truncation error of the capacity expansion. The complete derivation chain comprises 32 ancestors (1 axiom, 2 postulates, 4 lemmas, 25 theorems) connected by 1,398 directed paths. No parameters are fitted to data. Admissibility Physics derives the Standard Model gauge group, fermion content, quantum formalism, Lorentzian spacetime, the Einstein field equations, the cosmological constant, and the neutrino, strong-CP, and dark sectors from a single assumption — that enforcement is finite at every causally connected region — with zero free parameters. The core derivation runs Papers 0–11; the extension papers carry the individual sectors. Each paper's main text and Technical Supplement is deposited separately, and every quantitative claim traces to a named, executable check in the public theorem bank (over 3,800 bank-registered theorems across roughly 450 modules, 48 quantitative predictions).
