The Universal Interconnected Nodes (UIN) Propulsion System: A Distributed Framework for Metric Engineering, Stability Control, and Geodesic Motion
Abstract
This paper proposes the Universal Interconnected Nodes (UIN) propulsion system}, a speculative yet mathematically consistent framework for spacetime engineering within General Relativity. In contrast to monolithic warp-drive metrics, UIN employs a distributed network of physical, field, and informational nodes to regulate spacetime curvature through feedback control. By discretizing the stress–energy tensor and dynamically redistributing curvature contributions, the system enables controlled geodesic motion while maintaining zero proper acceleration for internal observers. The framework integrates numerical relativity techniques, particularly the BSSN formulation, to ensure stability and suppress horizon formation. Operational behavior, system architecture, limitations, and falsifiability conditions are explicitly addressed.
