Emergent Gravity from a Pre-Geometric Coherence Substrate
Abstract
This work presents a minimal emergent gravity framework in which gravitational dynamics arise as a macroscopic backreaction of coherence within a non-geometric substrate. The approach is formulated at an effective level and introduces a coherence backreaction tensor that captures the large-scale imprint of internal reflexive dynamics without assuming a predefined spacetime geometry. The resulting effective gravitational equation is shown to be internally consistent, compatible with standard differential geometry, and endowed with qualitative observable signatures. A minimal numerical illustration is provided to demonstrate the emergence of stable coherence attractors under reflexive dynamics, addressing concerns regarding purely illustrative representations. Crucially, the framework recovers the Einstein field equations exactly in the classical macroscopic limit, under well-defined and minimal conditions on the coherence backreaction tensor. This establishes a clear correspondence with general relativity while preserving the emergent character of the approach. The present document is intended as a foundational and conceptual contribution. It does not claim a complete microscopic derivation of gravity or quantum dynamics, but rather provides a consistent platform for subsequent quantitative developments.
