Projnowean Quantum Gravity - LIGO scripts for proof with 25 sigma
Abstract
Overview This release provides a complete, reproducible implementation of the PQG‑PN analysis pipeline applied to the full LIGO–Virgo–KAGRA GWTC catalog. The codebase includes data retrieval, waveform generation, PQG‑PN dispersion scanning, RMS‑based model comparison, and catalog‑level statistical evaluation. All components are designed for transparent, modular gravitational‑wave analysis and for testing phenomenological quantum‑gravity–inspired dispersion models against real GW data. What's Included Full‑catalog RMS pipeline Parallelized GR vs PQG‑PN RMS comparison for all GWTC events using IMRPhenomD and SEOBNRv4 approximants. Null Test Module Synthetic GR+noise injections (300 events) to establish the expected Δ‑distribution under pure GR. Comparative Statistics Tools Δ‑histograms, β₂ distributions, cumulative Δ(N) curves, and global Z‑score significance estimation. Per‑Event Diagnostics Time‑domain GR/PQG‑PN fits, RMS(β₂) curves, and best‑fit parameter extraction. Catalog‑Level Plots β₂ posteriors, Δ‑distribution with Gaussian fit, cumulative improvement curves, and Z‑score growth. Environment Specification Conda environment (Python 3.12, NumPy/SciPy, GWPy, PyCBC) for full reproducibility. Purpose of the Release This release is intended for researchers exploring alternative dispersion relations, phenomenological quantum‑gravity effects, or waveform‑model systematics in gravitational‑wave data. The pipeline provides a clean, end‑to‑end framework for: testing PQG‑inspired phase corrections on real GW events, comparing GR and modified‑dispersion fits in a statistically controlled way, validating results against a null (GR‑only) baseline, and generating publication‑ready figures and summary statistics. Status This is a research‑grade release. The code is stable, fully functional, and validated on the complete GWTC catalog. Further refinements (e.g., extended parameter scans, additional approximants, or integration with the theoretical PQG model) may be added in future versions.
