Element Waveform Model: A Novel Approach to Periodic Table Representation
Abstract
This paper presents a novel waveform-based model for representing chemical elements that captures the fundamental periodic trends of the Periodic Table. The model generates unique electronic and nuclear waveforms for each of the 118 elements based on their physical properties, including atomic radius and first ionization energy. Our approach demonstrates strong correlation (r=0.929) between ionization energy and the nucleus/electron peak ratio, providing a physically consistent representation of elemental properties. The model successfully reproduces periodic trends and offers a new framework for element classification, chemical property prediction, and materials design
