An education phase does not meanteaching everyone how to use AI faster, nor producing more certified operators. It means restoring interpretive capacityto the human side. In earlier narratives—symbolized by Astro Boy—technology was not explained only by function, but by consequence. Children learned not just what machines could do,but why restraint mattered. Modern AI education often skips this layer. Tutorials optimize workflows.Courses teach prompting techniques.Guides promise productivity gains. What is missing is orientation. When should AI be used? When should it not? What is lost when judgment is outsourced? An education phase beginswhen these questions are made explicit. It reframes AI not as a shortcut, but as a responsibility amplifier. This requires slowing down interfaces, introducing reflection points, and making trade-offs visible. Education is not a prelude to acceleration. It is a brake that teaches steering. Without it,capability growth outpaces comprehension, and power accumulates without literacy. The goal is not to stop AI. The goal is to ensurethat humans still understandwhat they are delegating—and why. Disclaimer This paper does not propose curricula or certification programs. It conceptualizes “education phase” as the restorationof human interpretive judgment within AI-mediated decision-making.
