Holographic Persistence of Baryons: Radion-Stabilized Information Anchoring and the Proton Lifetime in the MetaTime v36–v38 Framework
Abstract
We propose a concrete extra-dimensional realization of the MetaTime hypothesis that irreversible“state updates” of matter incur a finite processing latency ΓL > 0, and that long-lived structurespersist as holographically protected records on a higher-dimensional substrate. Embedding the program in a Randall–Sundrum slice of AdS5 with Goldberger–Wise radion stabilization, we formulatethe Anchor Conjecture: the 4D proton is the holographic projection of a stable bulk “informationknot” whose persistence is guaranteed by entanglement-wedge quantum error correction, while decaycorresponds to a localized radion-assisted instanton that desynchronizes the 4D projection from its5D master copy. The experimental bound τp/B(p → e+π0) > 2.4 × 1034 yr implies a dimensionlesssuppression action Seff ≃ ln(τp/tP) ≈ 196, i.e. a per-Planck-tick failure probability ≲ 10−85. Weshow that Seff can be matched to a radion bounce action of the form Sinst ∼ αloc M24 /(ϵk2) (withϵ ≪ 1 the Goldberger–Wise parameter and k the AdS curvature), requiring only a modest localityfactor αloc ∼ 2 × 10−2for typical stabilized-warp benchmarks (ϵ ∼ 10−2, k ∼ 0.1M4). Finally, modeling MetaTime latency as stochastic noise in the radion effective action yields a quantitativeroute to constrain the UV component of ΓL from nucleon stability, providing a falsifiable bridgebetween cosmological latency phenomenology (v36) and baryon persistence (v38).
