jtonini/nomad-hpc: NOMAD-HPC v1.3.0
Abstract
A workstation's lab is the tag its collector gives it A workstation now belongs to a lab when the collector that monitors it tags it with the lab's group. The tag goes in its entry in that machine's nomad.toml: [[collectors.workstation.workstations]] hostname = "adam" department = "cparish$" Assigned once: the tag reaches the hub with the data, so a machine is assigned to a lab once, where it is added. Its PI sees it in the Console. Moves follow: a machine moved to another lab follows its latest tag. The hub's list remains for the rest: [console.labs.resources] on the Console's machine is still where storage goes, plus any workstation that isn't collected. nomad console roles NETID now says whether each workstation is online, and when it last was if it isn't. Before, it showed "last reported" for any record, offline ones included. For storage it says whether each export is mounted and responding. Machines known only by their tag are marked [tagged].
