Abstract

This dataset contains ocular wavefront measurements from 1,892 myopic eyes of 1,045 subjects examined with the OPD-Scan III (Nidek) at the Adolphe de Rothschild Foundation Hospital, Paris, between 2013 and 2025. Measurements were collected during routine preoperative assessments for corneal refractive surgery. One examination per eye is included. The dataset provides device-exported Zernike coefficients through radial order 8, Gatinel–Malet wavefront coefficients, and vergence coefficients in the fully orthogonal and VL–VH bases. Derived quantities include peak-to-valley normalised coefficients and the magnitudes and axes of oriented modes. Results are provided for 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm pupil diameters, with smaller pupils obtained by analytical rescaling. The archive includes the main CSV table, a variable dictionary, descriptive tables, Python processing and validation code, a synthetic example, documentation, licences and SHA-256 checksums. Direct patient identifiers and the private identifier mapping are not included. Version 2.0.0 accompanies the revised Scientific Data manuscript. Changes from the earlier release are documented in CHANGELOG.md. To cite this specific dataset version, use DOI 10.5281/zenodo.22844021.
