The 1.0857 Metric as a Causal Anchor for the ASASSN-24fw Occultation Resolving the 8.5-Month Achromatic Dimming Event.
Abstract
LEGAL NOTICE: Patent Pending. This work is an integral component of the logic filed under U.S. Provisional Patent Application #63/990,933 (Filed Feb 25, 2026). Title: Spacecraft Hull Design and Universal Scaling Constant 1.0857. The F-type star ASASSN-24fw recently underwent a significant 97% dimming event lasting 8.5 months, characterized by a unique achromatic light curve. Current models propose a large-grained dusty disk as the occulting body, yet they fail to provide a causal explanation for the precise 43.8-year recurrence or the absence of spectral reddening. This paper re-evaluates the system using the 1.0857 Geometric Anchor as a fundamental structural law. By prioritizing causal reasoning over statistical correlation, we demonstrate that the dimming event is a regulated synchronization of the local temporal metric. The 1.0857 constant is identified as the operator that maintains the equilibrium of the system’s orbital phase.
