Abstract

The analysis presented here is grounded entirely in the TESS light‑curve data of 3I/ATLAS, using the publicly available 21‑second cadence photometry. Within this dataset, we identify a unique entry sequence—a specific, non‑Markovian trajectory through the discretized brightness‑state space—that TESS follows immediately prior to the onset of safe‑mode. This sequence is the only one among thousands of Markovian futures that satisfies all five empirically derived structural gates, indicating that TESS does not drift into safe‑mode but instead executes a precise, rule‑constrained entry maneuver.
