Abstract

We argue that temporal direction does not originate from dynamics, but from structure.Within an information-density framework previously introduced, minimization of refinementgrowth selects four effective dimensions and produces an intrinsic asymmetry: only one directionsupports unbounded refinement. This direction forms an infinite inclusion chain, establishing an ordering prior to spacetimedynamics. Action principles and variational descriptions then arise on top of this structurerather than generating it.The present work makes explicit this structural–dynamical separation, providing a transpar-ent global picture of the framework.
