A poet or writer is evaluated on the foundation of values. When values disintegrate, distortions arise in society. In a society afflicted by such distortions, the poet begins his literary pursuit of reform. Mahapran Nirala was such a seeker, who not only witnessed these distortions but endured them throughout his life as well.”
