Abstract

The accurate tropical cyclone (TC) track and intensity forecast is crucial for mitigating TC disasters. Appropriate physical parameterization schemes (PPSs) are supposed to be selected to improve the accuracy of TC simulation. However, few studies have comprehensively researched on the sensitivity of landfalling TCs to PPSs. This study focuses on three types of PPSs: cumulus convection parameterization scheme (CCPS), cloud microphysics parameterization scheme (CMPS), and boundary layer parameterization scheme (PBLPS).
