asieldv/leaf_spectral_reflectance_analyzer: Multispectral Near Infrared Image Processing System for Spectral Reflectance Analysis of Soybean Leaves v1.0.0
Abstract
Multispectral Near Infrared Image Processing System for Spectral Reflectance Analysis of Soybean Leaves This Python system is designed to process multispectral images of soybean leaves on clay soils with different moisture levels. The main objective is to extract the spectral information of each pixel, obtain the minima, maxima, averages and modes of each image, as well as the incident light captured by the camera sensor to store them in CSV format for later statistical analysis. Through this analysis, we seek to understand how the spectral reflectance of soybean leaves is affected by different soil moisture conditions. It should be noted that the images for this experiment were taken guaranteeing uniformity in terms of distances and angles between the lens, the leaf and the soil samples. For the experiment, 5 blocks were formed, each with 5 treatments according to the different levels of soil moisture analyzed and for each treatment 20 replications with the objective of comparing the data grouped by similarity in terms of light insidency captured by the camera sensor. In addition to the information obtained on spectral reflectance, the system generates visual representations of the spectral reflectance contained in the leaves.
