Orthodox science rejects Cold Fusion and is forced to make do with a primitive worldview
Abstract
Nuclear physics, with its understanding of the structure of atoms and nuclei, denies the possibility of nuclear reactions at low temperatures, as this would undermine its understanding of the mechanism of nuclear reactions. At the same time, the elemental compositions of the Earth's crust and interstellar matter differ, which is only possible as a result of nuclear reactions at relatively low temperatures. It has been shown that this difference can be explained by the migration of nucleons between two identical adjacent nuclei, provided that the nuclei being produced are naturally occurring and their mass is less than the mass of the original nuclei. In this case, the nucleons as a single unit travel a distance five orders of magnitude greater than their size
