Abstract

These MATLAB codes provide non-intrusive, data-driven implementations of the balanced truncation family. The algorithms require only data—transfer function samples on the imaginary axis—which can be obtained by injecting a signal at a desired frequency into the dynamical system and measuring the output response. The implementations cover balanced truncation, time-limited balanced truncation, frequency-limited balanced truncation, self-weighted balanced truncation, LQG balanced truncation, H-infinity balanced truncation, positive-real balanced truncation, bounded-real balanced truncation, and balanced stochastic truncation.
