Bioelectric Restoration of Three-Condition Tissue Growth Governance: A Mathematical Framework with Testable Predictions for Ion Channel-Based Cancer Therapy
Abstract
Tissue growth governed by three simultaneous structural conditions — nearest-neighbor coupling, binary proliferation gating, and second-order growth memory — admits exactly one stable growth mode among all second-order binary recurrences: the Fibonacci recurrence (spectral radius phi ≈ 1.618). Cancer corresponds to violation of one or more conditions, producing exponential growth (spectral radius ≥ 2.0). Exhaustive algebraic enumeration proves that restoring any single condition in isolation either worsens cancer or arrests tissue entirely. Only simultaneous restoration of all three returns the system to governed growth. This paper presents the bioelectric implementation of three-condition restoration, mapping each condition to specific ion channel targets: gap junction modulators (coupling), voltage-gated calcium channel modulators (binary gate), and mTOR-linked ion channels (metabolic memory). An alternative external electromagnetic field protocol using phi-ratio frequency spacing is also described. The primary prediction is falsifiable in cell culture: successive tumor population ratios should converge to approximately 1.618 under triple-condition bioelectric restoration and remain above 2.0 under any single- or double-condition intervention. The framework also compresses all seven Hanahan-Weinberg cancer hallmarks to these three algebraic conditions.
