Abstract

This volume presents a collection of chapters that address advanced concepts in biomedical and veterinary sciences, with a focus on mechanistic understanding, diagnostic approaches, and emerging therapeutic strategies. The contributions collectively highlight how integrative research across molecular, cellular, and tissue levels advances both clinical practice and translational medicine. The chapter on nanobiology-driven drug delivery systems introduces the fundamental principles, design strategies, and therapeutic applications of nanoscale technologies, emphasizing their potential to improve drug targeting, efficacy, and safety. This perspective reflects the growing importance of nanotechnology in the development of next-generation biomedical interventions. Complementing this approach, the chapters on necropsy and histopathology in veterinary medicine and on bone marrow necrosis provide detailed insights into morphology-based diagnosis and underlying pathophysiological mechanisms. These contributions underscore the critical role of structural and cellular analysis in understanding disease processes, supporting accurate diagnosis, and informing clinical decision-making. Finally, the discussion of eryptosis and its pathophysiological role in cardiovascular diseases highlights a specialized yet increasingly significant area of research, linking altered erythrocyte biology to systemic vascular disorders. Together, these chapters offer a coherent and multidisciplinary perspective, making the volume a valuable reference for researchers, clinicians, and advanced students in biomedical and life sciences.
