CaSDaR-Soton/reviewerallocation: Reviewer Allocation
Abstract
This python script was written to randomly allocate reviewers to applications for CaSDaR's funding call Round 1. It allowed for conflicts of interest to be avoided, and stated a maximum and a minimum number of applications to be allocated per reviewer. It has print statements for each section for anyone looking to re-use the script and check that the script is running effectively. The input data is a list of reviewers as a .csv file and a list of applications as a .csv file with listed conflicts of interest with the reviewers. You will need to specify the file location of these documents at the beginning of the script. A representative dataset for both files has been included with the package. The outputs are a .csv file that show the reviewers that have been allocated to each application, and a printed list in the terminal of the number of applications allocated per reviewer.
