FRC 820.002: The FRC Coherence Pump Reproduces Planarian Morphogenesis
Abstract
We show that the FRC coherence pump equation reproduces all three canonical observations of planarian bioelectric morphogenesis: (1) head-to-tail voltage polarity from uniform initial conditions, (2) correct polarity regeneration in both halves after bisection, and (3) the two-headed phenotype under gap junction blockade. The key prediction is that metabolic pump efficacy (α) is coupled to gap-junctional connectivity (κ): α ∝ κ. A parameter robustness scan across 42 (α, κ) points confirms the prediction holds across a basin with a sharp phase transition at critical coupling κ_c ≈ 12%. The monostable formulation encodes the FRC principle that coherence is work and entropy is free.
