Causal Holographic Universe: dS/CFT Toy Model
Abstract
This is the official code release accompanying the paper: "Linear Entanglement Scaling in a Causal Graph Model for de Sitter Holography" Heidi Anderson, February 2026. Submitted to Physical Review E. Preprint available at [arXiv:YYMM.NNNNN [gr-qc, hep-th]] (link will be added after submission). 🔬 What this repository contains · Causal graph growth – stochastic DAG generation with tunable ancestor bias (p_a), growth probability (p_g), and dynamical spacelike boundary bonds (p_b = 0.3). · Minimal‑cut entanglement entropy – fast crossing‑edge count (validated against Edmonds‑Karp) for boundary intervals, as defined in the Ryu–Takayanagi prescription. · Ensemble sweep scripts – reproduce the main results for all 36 parameter configurations (10 seeds each) and finite‑size scaling (8 seeds per N). · Figure generation – scripts to produce the four publication‑ready PDF figures from the saved summary data. · Summary data – CSV files containing the exact means and standard deviations reported in the paper, allowing immediate figure reproduction without re‑running simulations. 📊 How to reproduce the paper Install dependencies: pip install -r requirements.txt (or use the provided environment.yml for Conda). Run ensemble sweeps (optional – takes ~1 hour): python scripts/sweep_pa_chi_pg_ensemble.py # Figures 1,2,3 python scripts/sweep_finite.py # Figure 4 Generate figures (instantly, from included CSV data): python figures/generate_figures.py This will create the four PDFs exactly as they appear in the paper. Explore the model – the src/ directory contains the core CTN class, cut functions, and boundary‑ordering utilities, fully documented and ready for extension. 🧠 Citation If you use this code or ideas from the paper in your own research, please cite: @article{Anderson2026causal, title = {Linear Entanglement Scaling in a Causal Graph Model for de Sitter Holography}, author = {Anderson, Heidi}, journal = {arXiv preprint arXiv:YYMM.NNNNN}, year = {2026}, note = {Submitted to Physical Review E}, url = {https://arxiv.org/abs/YYMM.NNNNN}, doi = {10.5281/zenodo.XXXXXXX} } A CITATION.cff file is also included in the repository – GitHub will automatically show a "Cite this repository" button. 🏛️ Permanent archive This release has been archived on Zenodo and assigned a permanent DOI: https://zenodo.org/badge/DOI/10.5281/zenodo.XXXXXXX.svg (Replace XXXXXXX with your Zenodo DOI after archiving.) 🙏 Acknowledgements The open‑source scientific Python community (NumPy, NetworkX, Matplotlib, SciPy, Pandas) and the anonymous reviewers for their constructive feedback.
