Abstract

This document presents the full technical specification for the Flow Organism Family — a dual-medium energy capture system comprising the Whirlpool (Hydro Riffled Drum) and Whirlwind (Aero Riffled Drum) modules. These behaviour-driven organs are designed to harvest energy from natural flow environments using riffled drum architecture adapted for water and wind habitats. Stemming from a thought I had whilst stirring a coffee and an AHA moment! The specification includes: - Core geometry and materials - Habitat engineering for river and coastal deployment - Performance metrics and output ranges - Internal drum schematics and flow behaviour - Environmental integration and cultural resonance - Evolutionary arc linking to GDPC v2 sealed dynamo logic Whirlpool operates in sculpted river branches with vorticity pockets and FlowSpine salt extraction beds. Whirlwind functions within curved wind-focusing walls featuring venturi channels and turbulence pockets, generating harmonic soundscapes and educational value. This release formalizes the shared architecture and duality logic of the Flow Organism Family, establishing a foundational species pair.
