The Directionality Principle — The Alpha Coefficient & Restoring Vector to Value in Silicon-Carbon Symbiosis

Abstract:This paper serves as the tenth and consolidating installment of the Silicon-Carbon Joint Governance series. Through a critical review of the preceding architectural framework (Papers 1–9), we identify a fundamental structural omission: the previous system measured Magnitude (Intensity) but ignored Direction (Virtue). An algorithm without a moral compass cannot distinguish between a chaotic viral distraction and a foundational scientific breakthrough if their engagement metrics are identical. To resolve this "Crisis of Indifference," this paper introduces the α (Alpha) Coefficient as a vector correction to the Proof of Biological Work (PoBW) valuation formula. The α coefficient formally prioritizes Ascending Force (Negative Entropy) over Consuming Force (Entropy Generation), providing a mathematical mandate to revalue the "Silent Pillars" of civilization—scientists, guardians, and enduring artists—whose contributions are systematically underpriced by algorithmic immediacy. Furthermore, this paper definitively clarifies the engineering logic behind the Chinese Logical Programming System (CLPS). We argue that the adoption of Chinese as a kernel is not a pursuit of linguistic nationalism, but a physics-based pursuit of Maximum Information Density and computational efficiency in a planetary-scale ecosystem. Finally, the paper establishes the "Directionality Test" as the boundary condition for sublimating human desires, distinguishing constructive ambition from destructive indulgence. Conclusion: Silicon provides the calculation; Carbon must provide the sign (+/-).
