A Neural Plate–Style Folding Model for the Origin of the Universe: Integrating Cosmology and Developmental Biology
Abstract
This study proposes a Neural-Plate-Style Fold (NPSF) model to describe the origin of the universe; a cosmogenesis model based on division through folding of primordial space-time. The model analogizes early spacetime formation to embryonic neural plate morphogenesis, in which coordinated bending and folding generate differentiated structures with saddle-like curvature patterns at both cosmic and embryonic scales. In this framework, the early universe is represented as a primordial brane that undergoes progressive folding, redistributing energy and matter, seeding primordial density fluctuations, and giving rise to the Earth and space which share a common origin in the primordial brane and subsequently diverge via division into distinct developmental trajectories. Higher-dimensional embeddings supply the geometric freedom required for such folding to occur.
