Harmonic Model of the Universe. Effective GUT
Abstract
We present the Effective Harmonic GUT as a coherent program that reorganizes the StandardModel (SM) and General Relativity (GR) within a single modal framework. The central hypothesis isthat what we operationally describe as distinct particles, interactions, and effective potentials can bereinterpreted as selected resonant modes of a unified field propagating on an extended geometry, wherean additional oscillatory coordinate acts as a spectral selector. In this view, the SM is not negated butrecovered as a low-energy, symmetry-protected, and phenomenologically consistent effective sector of adeeper harmonic dynamics; likewise, GR is not replaced but re-expressed as the geometric/macroscopiclimit of the same underlying field equation and its induced stress–energy organization. The value of the paradigm shift is methodological and predictive: it compresses ontology (fewerprimitives, more structure), converts “free” model ingredients into constrained spectral data (boundaryconditions, mode orthogonality, and resonance selection), and promotes a disciplined bridge betweenmicrophysics and macrophysics. By design, the framework emphasizes (i) a transparent separationbetween universal kinematics (the harmonic field equation and its modal tower) and effective phe-nomenology (emergent couplings, masses, and apparent forces), (ii) a falsifiability pipeline that connectsanalytic claims to concrete observational and experimental targets, and (iii) a reconciliation strategywith established SM/GR results: wherever the standard description works, the harmonic descriptionmust reduce to it in the appropriate limit, while offering new constraints and testable deviations wherethe standard picture remains underdetermined.
