Estrategia de indagación guiada para el desarrollo del pensamiento de diseño en estudiantes de Ingeniería en Diseño Industrial

This work presents a guided inquiry-based didactic model for the course Fundamentos Teóricos del Diseño in the Industrial Design Engineering undergraduate program at Tecnológico Nacional de México / Instituto Tecnológico de Pachuca. The model structures learning through a cognitive progression that moves from visual literacy to intentional design thinking by means of the conceptual analysis of industrial design objects. Implemented through a structured academic research instrument, the strategy promotes active learning, the construction of meaning, and the development of disciplinary criteria. This approach supports the systematic formation of design thinking and provides documented evidence of teaching practice in design education.
