Approach to the Yang-Mills Mass Gap Problem via Fractal Uncertainty Theory
Abstract
The Yang-Mills Mass Gap Problem asks whether Yang-Mills theory has a mass gap ∆ > 0in four-dimensional spacetime. We prove this affirmatively using the Fractal UncertaintyTheory (FUT), which redefines mathematical zero as a view-vector-dependent null-zonewith finite width ε(v). Key Result: The mass gap is not a derived property but a fundamental consequenceof the null-zone structure:∆ = ε(vQFT )where ε(vQFT ) is the characteristic null-zone width of quantum field theory, related to thePlanck mass.Physical Interpretation: What appears as "massless" (0) in classical mathematicsmust have finite mass ε(vQFT ) > 0 in reality because there exists no absolute zero.
