The Physical Foundations of Material Space
Abstract
This paper presents a formal derivation of the Material Space Theory (MST), a dynamical framework that replaces the geometric interpretation of Special Relativity proposed by Einstein [1]. We demonstrate that the apparent constancy of the one-way speed of light is a conventional artifact of clock synchronization, as argued by Reichenbach [3]. By introduc-ing a preferred frame S at rest relative to the material space medium, we derive transformations similar to those of Tangher-lini [5] that preserve absolute simultaneity. Most importantly, we provide a mathematical proof that the Michelson-Morley ex-periment is fully consistent with a material medium, following the early dynamic insights of Lorentz [2].
