MUT v5.8.18: Supplement XV: Resolving Mercury's Precession and Gravitational Redshift
Abstract
This supplement provides deterministic derivations of two classical tests of General Relativity within the MUT v5.8 framework. The anomalous precession of Mercury (43 arcseconds per century) is explained as a natural consequence of increased Effective Background Scalar Field (ΦA) flux density near the Sun, incorporating the scaling factor . Similarly, the gravitational redshift of light is derived from frequency differentials between high-z and low-z regions, demonstrating the photon’s modulation by the ΦA substrate. These results confirm that MUT reproduces relativistic effects through scalar field dynamics, offering causal explanations without invoking curved spacetime.
