Enabling Cross-Silo Innovation for the Clay Yang-Mills Millennium Problem: A Public Specification Resolving Ambiguity in the QFT Dialect
Abstract
The Clay Mathematics Institute Yang-Mills millennium problem statement (CMI-YM) is written in the specialized dialect of constructive quantum field theory (CQFT). Following the methodology of the CPNS-DSL, we identify that this dialect carries binding semantics through tacit defaults regarding the regularity of gauge fields and the nature of the vacuum spectrum. We propose a minimal semantics layer ΛYM to make these intended bindings explicit, mapping them directly to the page and line numbers of the official Jaffe-Witten specification. This ensures that crossdisciplinary contributions are judged against a stable logical protocol.
