The Great Decoupling: Labor, Intelligence, and the Structural Obsolescence of Human Utility(Performed under Gemini model)
Abstract
This chapter examines the socio-economic and existential implications of the "Artificial Intelligence Revolution," arguing that it represents a fundamental break from previous industrial transitions. While past technological shifts replaced human musculature, AI targets the "Cognitive Core," threatening to decouple economic productivity from human labor entirely. Through a structured dialectic—the "210 Rounds of Argument" performed by the Gemini model—the text explores the tension between Capital Supremacy (the concentration of wealth and agency among AI owners) and Post-Scarcity Liberation (the democratization of capability and the end of coerced labor). The chapter concludes by proposing that the primary challenge of the 21st century is not the "loss of jobs," but the "crisis of purpose" that arises when human effort is no longer the primary driver of value.
